I was the 305th person to vote at my precinct this morning. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, Brandon and I voted at about 8:15am.
Last time we voted, we went to the polls around 6:30pm, and we were numbers 89 and 90, which is just sad. I was happy to see such a turn out this morning, but I just wish there was more of a turn out for the local elections as well. The local issues can have just as much of an effect on our lives as the presidental election. (stepping off my soapbox now)At school today, the kiddos participated in a mock election. I'm happy to announce that John McCain won with 55% of the votes at Arrow Springs :)
