I completed my 1st cake today! I think it turned out pretty good for my 1st one.....mine was one of the few that didn't have crumbs in the icing- I consider that a huge success :)
What do you think? I decided to go with the Valentines day theme.
We paid $150 for it, and I was so excited about finally getting to "see" her! They never could get a good enough picture of her. I think she was in an akward position and the whole thing was a big letdown and I went away so disappointed and I said I would never do it again. Well, I'll never pay for it again, at least.
I am a wife of three and a half years, a new mother, a follower of Jesus, a couponer, a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist and a scrapbooker. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I started this blog to chronicle my couponing/savings- but it's now a weird mix of mom-stuff, speech pathology stuff, coupons and photos of our son, Bryson. Thanks for stopping by!

Cute! so, I'm guessing you get to keep all these cakes and eat them? Are you going to get sick of cake? I think that would be a fun class!
It looks delicious! I could use a piece right about now! ;)
Seriously, it looks great. Very smooth icing, even as the light hits it. Kudos!
Looks awesome!
Man, your quick!

What a great cake!
And, to have NO crumbs in your cake is awesome. That's not easy to do!
It's fun, isn't it?
Good job! Getting smooth icing is really hard so you are doing great. The true test was how it tasted! It looks yummy!
