Friendsgiving was a HUGE success. We had 14 people in all- including Brandon and myself. We started the party about 6:15pm and everyone was gone by 11:30pm. The turkey turned out SO juicy and tender- I can't wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow night for supper! I will definately use that recipe again next year. There was more than enough food, dessert and wine to go around and I think everyone had a good time. Here's the dessert & drink tables and Rusty & Andy with the 'OSU cake':

Here's some more photos:
Kayla came to the rescue with the gravy!
Brandon & Liz with the wishbone, while Kristen is studying the 'How to carve a turkey' instructions I printed off :)

Since the OU vs Tech game was pretty boring (well, for OSU fans it was) we broke out Pictionary. It was a pretty close game, but team OSU beat team Awesome in the end! :)

Everything looked wonderful. Looked like a perfect evening.
Looks like a great party! Also it looked like it went off well in the new home...what a great thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Hope it will continue to be great!
Can you tell me more about the cranberries? Did you just float all that in some water?
Looks fantastic! I'm so glad it turned out well for you.
Look like you guys had a blast.
I'm totally stealing this idea for next year. Looks like such a fun time.
Friendsgiving! I love it ... now my mouth is watering for turkey and all the sides. Makes me smile to see the photos of such a lovely gathering of friends.
Christy- yep. I just took the cranberries straight from the fridge and put 'em in the bowl of water and floating candles. It was all still floating the next morning too! A cheap, easy centerpeice I'll use again....
So sad I wasn't there! (Even though I don't all the other people, but still!!) Looks like so much fun!
