WFMW: Speech & Language websites for kiddos

As you'all know, I'm a speech pathologist at a local elementary school. There are several websites that I love to use in my classroom and have my kiddos practice at home. I thought I'd share these sites so more kiddos could use 'em!

www.starfall.com for early readers and to highlight certain sounds.

http://www.quia.com/pages/worldowords.html for vocabulary games

http://www.quia.com/pages/havemorefun.html and http://www.quia.com/pages/speechersclass.html for specific sound/articulation games

Make sure and check out more WFMW tips over at www.rocksinmydryer.typepad.com

I haven't heard of the starfall website before. I'll have to check it out. A good crafty website is www.dltk-kids.com It has tons of easy themed craft ideas. I used it all the time in grad school.

Thanks for sharing these websites. My son was born severely hearing impaired and received a cochlear implant at age 4. His language acquisition has been steady, albeit slow. I am always trying new products, therapy etc. and sharing all ideas with his speech therapist. I really appreciate your suggestions.
